The most interesting project I have been involved so far. The impulse came at the first Poli 2.0 course. We hope it will be used by the Bucharest citizens soon.
Having an awful experience in grading student homeworks while I was assistant for the Algorithm Design course, I realized the necessity for an automated testing tool, similar with the one from infoarena.ro but more specific for our university needs. During the summer I found out that Stefan Bucur has the same ideas and we started to write togheter.
Hambar is a special and great place for me. This is why I envolved myself to create an unordinary club website.
I wanted to create very good looking website, with nice user experience, very easy to be updated, and to avoid using Flash. The result is a tone of handmade Javascript, a few clever php scripts and lot of graphics.
This was developed in my first work experience inside a big company, the 2006 summer internship at Freescale Semiconductor Romania.
With almost 50 files and 3000 lines of code of Perl, this was a nice opportunity to learn a quite interesting programming language.
